Long Term Volunteering
Volunteers who stay longer than 3 months are our long tern volunteers. They play an important part in the day to day activities at Butterfly. They become part of the family and are involved in every aspect of the work Butterfly does.
Short Term Volunteering
Volunteers who stay up to 3 months. They usually help with specific projects either in the community, at the baby house or on the Butterfly premises. We aim to give them a meaningful and fulfilling experience which also has a positive impact on the community.
Impact Days
Groups, companies or families doing a single day outreach to accomplish a specific purpose or meet a specific need.
Donate
Many people have a heart for people in need but cannot come to Butterfly to help meet the need. It is possible to also get involved by donating resources, material or finances.
** Please help us secure Home Base for the Children! **
Many of you have somehow been involved with Butterfly Change for Children and have experienced the CHANGE! If not, do watch the video or scroll down to read the background. Butterfly needs 2,4 million rands (700 000 rand already collected) to buy the farm, their home base, that will ensure a continuous safe haven for the babies and a basis to continue their work in the community. Ownership of the property will also enable them to apply for government support for their projects. The next payment of R25 000 is due in March 2020. BackaBuddy has implemented a system whereby donors can opt to cover all bank fees - whole donated amount available for the project.
